For the horsepower hungry, you will eliminate over 10 pounds of rotating weight from your engine the balance shaft introduce, will increase oil pressure, and will make for a much quicker and simpler timing belt change (when the time comes). Horsepower gains of up to 2-3hp can be achieved by eliminating the balance shaft as well. This kit is highly used within the "H2B" engine swap crowd.
Kit contents
- Billet aluminum block off plate w/etched KS Tuned logo
- Billet aluminum crankshaft spacer
- All necessary plugs to maintain and increase oil pressure by blocking balance shaft bearings (without removing them)
- Billet aluminum plugs for the oil pump
- Uses OEM Honda oil pump
- H22A, H22A1, H23 (non VTEC)
- H22A4, F22 (sohc), F20B (dohc), H23 VTEC
- F23 (sohc)
